Lil Yacthy, is a rapper, singer and a writer, best known for his single 'One Night'. His real name is Miles Parks McCollum and he is also known by the names of King Boat, Lil Boat and Nautica Boat Boy. He became famous with the two mixtapes 'Summer Song 2' and 'Lil boat'. This wasn't his first attempt to sing. His first fame came in August of 2015 with his two singles "One Night" and "Minnesota'. Both were released on the debut EP (Extended play), called 'Summer Songs. His current music label roster includes 'Capital Records' and  QCM and  Motown Records. Yachty has worked with numerous famous rappers, including 'D.R.A.M. as well as "Chance The Rapper.. Yachty also sells merchandise through his official website. The website offers glimpses into Yachty's personal life as well announcements about upcoming performances, performances and tours. Lil Yatchy worked at McDonald's during his time at Pebblebrook High School. He met other hopeful rappers. Yachty began attending Alabama State University as a graduate student, but left after a period of two months. The passion for music that Yachty had was evident at an early age. His father was a great illustration of this, sharing with him a variety of styles of music in his early years. In 2015, he adopted the name "Yachty" and relocated from Atlanta to New York, in order to achieve fame in life. He stayed with his friend in New York and searched for opportunities to enter the music business. In the meantime, he hung out with street style celebrities online and also built a solid following on Instagram. He formed a partnership with Burberry Perry (producer and beat maker) and his second main collaborator K$upreme. They're collectively called "The Saling Team" and they worked in Lil ' Yachty's bedroom. Drake's OVO Sound Radio airing of the song that he topped the charts with 'Minnesota' is his first big success. The turning point for Lil Yachty was his song "1Night". The video was shared onlineand soon became viral. Media attention was paid to his work when the SoundCloud version of his song "One Night' was used in a viral meme.
