Big Time Rush, an American pop-punk band was founded in the year 2009. The group consists of Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Logan Henderson, and Carlos PenaVega. They signed their first contract to Nick Records in 2009 before transferring to Columbia Records. The group was featured on Nickelodeon's television show Big Time Rush. The show ran from November 28, 2009 until July 25, 2013. The pilot episode featured the group's debut promo single, "Big Time Rush". Three studio albums were released by the group: BTR in 2010 and Elevate (2011) as well as 24/Seven (2013). In 2014, the band went on an indefinite hiatus that lasted up to 2021.
